Well, I have found the horse that I want to buy in the near future. I was hoping that it was going to be this week, but the ole man talked some 'sense' into me, and I guess leasing will be a better option until we are ready to buy in a year.

Junior is a Registered QH, he stands 15.2hhish, and is just a beautiful guy! He is a much better ride than the draft I normally ride. We were out for a trail ride earlier this week, and he did wonderfully, of course I can still feel it in my thighs ...

I've never been without a horse since I could walk. I've even seen pictures of myself as an infant on a horse with my dad. I started out with a couple of ponies and then at twelve got a two year old appy filly. Not many parents would buy their kid a 2 yr old, but mine did. I immediately joined a 4-h rodeo club and got into barrel racing. Star turned into quite the champion and I stopped racing her when number two daughter was born and just took up trail/pleasure riding. I lost her last year ...

Frustrated with my dogs' vet. I've never had a problem with my Labs and their treatment there, but now with my bulldog, things have been a bit dicey. Since we've gotten her, she's had a shot a week, and we've had her now for like a month.

The first time we took Tilly in to get her shots, she had a reaction, and ended up in the emergency vet. Now since then, every week that she has gone in to get her shots, they have kept her.
