Junior

Well, I have found the horse that I want to buy in the near future. I was hoping that it was going to be this week, but the ole man talked some 'sense' into me, and I guess leasing will be a better option until we are ready to buy in a year.

Junior is a Registered QH, he stands 15.2hhish, and is just a beautiful guy! He is a much better ride than the draft I normally ride. We were out for a trail ride earlier this week, and he did wonderfully, of course I can still feel it in my thighs . Junior is for sale at the barn I ride at, and really, I cant tell you how much I would LOVE to call him my own. I've decided to lease him mainly because that is what my husband will agree to right now. There is a possibility that he will be sold out from under me, but that is a chance that I am going to take.

The BEST thing about Junior is that I feel confident on him, and for a rider like me, that speaks volumes! I just hope he doesn't sale too soon, so I can have some time with him.

Oh, Junior is quite the handsome fella! I sure hope it works out that you'll be able to buy him. Having a horse that you feel confident on is priceless!

Ahh I didn't know that you were leasing him! That's great! Hope he doesn't sell until you can buy him! Wishful thinking?

I actually didnt even get a chance to lease him. Shortly after I posted about buying him, he was sold to a farm down the road. He's going to be used either for Western Pleasure or Reining. He really is too good of a horse to be just a lesson horse. I'm sad, but happy he's going to be used to his potential.

Aww that's sad . Sounds that he still got a proper home and it's comforting.

Yea, by the sounds of it, he's not that far from the barn. Looking at the pics makes me miss him tho.
